Our Services

At Duna Interiors we seek to create beautiful, comfortable and timeless interiors, tailored to the specific requirements of each client, taking into account location, context, brief and personal taste of the client. We are able to work on a multitude of different projects, from purely furnishing show homes for developers to historical importance and large scale residential, retail and hospitality projects requiring full interior design and interior architecture services.

Our Working Method

Phase 1 - It’s here that we get the chance to know our clients and understand their lifestyle, habits, carriers, family members, traditions, dreams, and everything that we consider important to shape and conduct their spaces.  We’ll talk about materials, colors, the desired style and other subjects.

Phase 2 - We will analyse all the information and start to create a concept around it. This is where we will start getting ideas and create the first sketches, moodboards and floor plan possibilities. After exploring the ideas/possibilities, we'll present our concept to the client and discuss the subjects that seem the most relevant.

Phase 3 - Here a more detailed and final floor plan will be made. The furniture, materials and lighting will be selected and a 3D will be created for the client to visualize what the space will look like.

Phase 4 - When the concept has been approved, a detailed estimated cost will be created. This will give a better understanding of the project cost regarding the furnishings, finishings, etc. It is essential to have a clear stated budget from the beginning so that concept can be created having it in mind. Quotes will be obtained and verified, and chosen by the client and Duna Interiors to make sure the right decision is made.

Phase 5 - When the concept and the estimated cost have been approved, the detailed executive drawings will be made so that third parties, such as the contractor and carpenters, can proceed to work. We will purchase and coordinate the items needed, from Portugal and abroad, for the completion of the project.

Phase 6 - There will be site visits to make sure that everything is going according to plan. It's important that we keep communicating with third parties so that we can answer any questions they may have during this phase.

Phase 7 - When the construction is concluded, the bespoke furniture and joinery will be installed. The furniture will be assembled and the final touches will be made with the styling of the spaces.
