Casa Areia, located in Carvoeiro, Portugal, at 500 meters of the coast, is a 3 bedroom house that breathes a mediterranean environment. Built in the 80’s of the 20th century and expanded in 2002 the house is marked with different heights, inclined ceilings and an architecture full of straight lines complemented by curved finishes that bring it closer to the well known Portuguese culture.
The complete renovation of this beautiful beach house has involved a full space planning, interior architecture and styling, including a number of customized pieces of furniture design.
The interior is inspired by the sea and all his surroundings like the beach, textures and colors. The result is a very clean space where wood, linen, and natural textures are the main materials. The white is the predominant color and the blue tones are used on the details, decoration and furniture.
The intention was to create a space that could combine the beautiful outside and sea view, with organic interior spaces, creating comfortability and functionality according the needs of our clients.
